At some point between February 16th and February 20th, Ignis will discover a ring on his person: the Ring of the Lucii, or something that looks an awful lot like it. As per his acknowledgment that its power is not meant for him, the ring will have no genuine power whatsoever. However useless it might be, if he takes it with him back to Ensō, it will remain among his belongings for as long as he wishes.
