At some point between February 16th and February 20th, Shepard will begin to feel cold.
Very quickly, the sensation will be completely unbearable. Nothing, not rugging up nor sitting by an open fire, will assist her in escaping the cold that seems to have seeped into her very bones. If desperation drives her to it, sticking any part of her body into open flame will not help either; even while burning, she will continue to feel agonizingly, inconceivably cold.
Two hours after these symptoms begin, they will very abruptly change to a searing heat, at which point, Shepard will be rendered unconscious. Upon waking she will find Anderson's dog tags clutched tightly in one sweaty palm.
