This is great hat-based slapstick comedy, Taako is really enjoying this light-hearted diversion from draconian water-cult society. And his prayers are answered; Angus doesn't notice his mistake. It really is still a great first attempt, though, however much shit Taako is about to give him for it.

When it's clear Angus has given up, Taako schools his expression into something more merciful, though there's still a glint of impending bullying to be seen. It's arcane, scholastic bullying, shut up.

"You just, you got a little somethin'," he reaches out and pulls the hat down over Angus' invisible face. Now it should be pretty dang obvious what the hiccup is, because this hat is by no means see-through. Taako is laughing again, but at a less arrestable volume this time, only as much as is allowed for one's own goof and not a child in a trashcan. "You'll get it next time. Just gotta remember all your accessories, with Invisibility. Now you know what goes into looking this good."
