Angus yelps as the hat is tugged off his head and onto his face, and he pulls it away with alarm. For half a second, before his genius brain can catch up with itself, he thinks he's made the whole world invisible. When he realizes it's his own dang hat, he frowns at it, looking extremely disappointed in himself.
"Well that's, that's a pretty dumb mistake," Angus says, holding the hat in both hands and impulsively thinking he might as well just throw the thing in the trash can. But he likes his hat, so he tries a second go at it, attempting to turn it invisible as well.
It sort of flickers in and out of existence, until it settles on looking extremely blurry and hard to concentrate on, while still mostly visible. He sighs and sets it on his head again.
"I guess I gotta keep working on it..."
He is very sad about not being instantly perfect at this. Angus McDonald, greatest detective in the world, and he can't even detective his way into an invisible hat.
