Briefly explain what their ideal world is like - how has it changed? This world is much like the one Ginko is originally from; it resembles late 19th-century Japan (though not as westernized as Japan was by that time in our history), and strange, semi-corporeal organisms called mushi can be found all over. Unlike in Ginko’s world, these mushi can be seen by anybody, rarely cause trouble for humans, and, when they do, are easily removed without doing any real harm. Like in his world, they are extremely cool and nice to watch. The dream will be specifically centered around a small seaside fishing village.
Briefly explain your character's role in this world: Ginko is back to being entirely human, with no trace of the monstrous traits he’s had since before his arrival in Lifeaftr. He works as a mushi master, as he had before - though it’s a much less dangerous job here, with more of a focus on helping the village’s doctor, Adashino, with minor infections and researching the organisms’ behavior than… you know, anything life-threatening. He may travel out sometimes, along with his close friend Tanyuu, to study mushi elsewhere - but just every so often, and he always returns back here.
He lives with his apparent romantic partner, Epsilon, who looks significantly less plantlike than he had during his time in Lifeaftr; his adopted brother Henry Townshend lives nearby, as do Ed and possibly a few others from Ryslig (honestly I’m still deciding, he had so much cr jfc).
Other roles characters might assume in this world: Other characters could be other villagers, travelers passing through, and so on.
Potential discrepancies others may pick up: Ha ha ha oh boy. So, first off Ginko is entirely human here, as well as being significantly happier and less jaded than usual; the same goes for Ed and… kind of Epsilon. He looks human, anyway, but the topic of him actually being a robot might come up, along with the implication that other robots exist and are just kind of around, in… 1870s Japan.
In addition, anyone not from Ryslig may not recognize Ginko’s “brother” Henry, the village doctor Adashino, or Tanyuu.
