Both of mine are going to go through some pretty rough times with Keith having it worse.
Keith The Black Paladin will live He's at a shaky canon point and with Shiro missing his outbursts will happen at high-stress moments. He's trying to be the team leader of his people...but the rage inside him hasn't been tamed. There's no peace. Only a lot of painful memories and questions.
Subjects that will help him survive. - the effect Shiro vanishing has on him - His childhood and desire to know why his mother left - guilt over how badly he screwed up leading - the desire to lead and do it right this time - his friends are his family - fear of losing everyone he cares about
Hinata On the fence about whether to let him live or not. There's a lot in canon that Hinata hasn't actually dealt with? He has peace and accepted his role in events but...some things he just hasn't talked about. And there are things he doesn't confess to here in life aftr. Feels like there's no point. Well, surprise. There is.
Things that could maybe save him.
- Frustration over being here - the fear of having to use what he was aka despair again. He doesn't like doing this. Can we stop? - Worry over the future back home. He knows they'll do what needs to be done but can they do it already? - People disappearing. Did they really make it back or just vanish? - What the hell happened to the rest of the world? - Regrets over Bliss. Could they have saved them?
It's all minor in a way on Hinata's end and he'd be willing to discuss them. So he probably will live.
