EDI reacted at speed, relying on combat heuristics of her own design, honed by months of testing and field work under Shepard's intentionally chaotic leadership style. She rolled to the side, evading— it was messy and inelegant, but functional. Had this been a proper fight, she would have been equipped with a firearm, and and omni-tool, and come up in full force.

But this was not a proper fight, this was a brawl. And instead she abandoned best practice, as well as tactical acumen, and did what a human would have done: something stupid, and unexpected. She hunched her shoulders and tackled legion like a linebacker.

Then, point made, she backed off. This was too serious a subject to pair well with play.
