It's probably telling how much of a shock that is.

They have lived in this location for nearly a year, stripped of all technology that isn't a part of them, data flow restricted to that which can be acquired via reading or experience, living as though organic.

Thus, their reaction is typical of one starved of something vital: overeager and intense.

Immediately, they receive her data, the sympathy and the understanding, and send back their own: their death on Rannoch and how Tali'Zorah who took their life was the only one to comfort them as they died, the knowledge that in their timeline, Shepard chooses to end the Reapers once and for all even if it means the genocide of all machine life.

Behind that is their own surprise that their friend, who they are aware prefers aural communication, would choose to do this. And their own intelligence, 1,183 points of light, stars schooling together like fish to form ever shifting constellations.

"Yes."
