The island I found Petunia was... Monsun, I think. The volcano was on Cahypdo. You get used to it, or at least get used to it being unpredictable.
[Which means he’s likely not actually doing so well; being on the run and having things tend to vaciliate wildly doesn’t help with the paranoia much.]
