PLOT INFO: UMUI, AI'TUOH, AND TEMPIDE
Hey ya'll! I know there's been a lot of discussion recently, especially among newer players, about the confusion as to why some of us are going buck fucking wild over the developments of searching the sunken islands. To put a very long story short, the reason is because this is giving us world lore that ties into 2 previous islands characters visited last year, Umui and Ai'tuoh. In an attempt to try and figure out what my characters know and what was archived, I ended up writing, a, uh... decently sized document detailing the information we have on these events. It's 22 pages. I'm sorry.
A few things to keep in mind:
1. This document JUST covers Umui, Ai'tuoh, and Tempide. There are other aspects of the modplot that is not covered here, such as the Storyteller's long sleep, who brought characters to the islands, and what is happening to the Storyteller and what can they do to save the world. While I would love to compile that in the future, this took me in the span of about 15 hours, and I am Very Tired For Right Now. Catch me later on this one.
2. If you wanna get INTO IT, you can read the whole thing, but if you just want to figure out what the active flying fuck is happening, the last 2 pages are pure summary- you can click through the outline on the doc to read just that.
3. I did my best to mark what was IC knowledge and what was spread ICly- because Kravitz was around at the point of Umui, and Connor takes very detailed notes that he was nice enough to share, copies much of this can be accessed at the Library for characters to view. However, there's some info that I couldn't determine if it had ever been shared ICly, and those characters are now dropped- if anyone knows if this information was passed along or shared after, or your character would have gotten this info and written it down/shared it, PLEASE let me know! You can also feel free to tell me to handwave someone contributing something to the Library in the wake of Kravitz' network post about two weeks ago.
