I lost track of time a bit, but I've pulled everything together now and we can all get things started! I'd actually like to put it to a vote if people would prefer this...meme? I guess???? Services: THEY'RE HERE AND READY TO EXPLORE. seriously the Drifter is a hard go-getter when it comes to exploration and mapping. once they've finished a map of the island, you can bet they'll wanna find a way to distribute that to people.
Looking for: Any quick healing skills that anyone has on hand is something the Drifter would be interested in knowing more about; they've got fragile constitution and go down in a few hits during combat, so while they don't expect anyone to be able to Cure them, any quick and dirty healing is super in their interest.

Hey! Gobbet has a heal spell that basically undoes the last wound received. She can only use it once per day, but in combination with her offensive spells and haste she could help prevent further injury to the Drifter in the field.

All she'd ask for in return is a cut of the spoils from their adventuring, particularly any food items.

Basically if you go adventuring, you can put Gobbet down as accompanying you. Just let me know so I can keep track of it.

Inventory: I can link it if needed but almost none of it it is going to be tradable in its current state.
Services: CLOTHES - Tataru is able and happy to do all manner of things relating to textiles, from processing raw materials, to spinning thread, weaving cloth, the actual making of clothes themselves, along with repairs and alterations. She has a few supplies of her own to start off with but those are limited (see Looking For)
Jewelry-making - As with weaving, she can handle all parts of the process, from raw ore to finished product. That being said, she does not have any raw materials of her own, and will need them to be provided.
Mining - She's been taught the basics of mining ores and raw gemstones. That being said she can't protect herself in the field for shit and also doesn't have any of the supplies to do so with her
Looking for: GOD okay so:

• Food - she can't hunt for shit; Alternately if you're willing to accompany her for foraging she'll take that too.
  
• Raw Materials - Particularly so that she can continue her weaving services
  
• Crafting Experience - She is definitely going to be looking to expand her crafting knowledge and thus the services that she can offer. I headcanon that on top of weaving and goldsmithing she has some minor/lesser experience with cooking and alchemy (her "special tonic" in ARR patches) but would be delighted for anybody who can teach her more. She'll likely also be interested in anybody who can teach her in general about woodworking and leatherworking.
  
• Botany/Farming Experience - I know I've hit up a couple of people about this already but anybody who's able to teach her more about plant care and wild plants. I figure she might want to set up more reliable supply of fibrous plants along with herbs and spices eventually.

ISLET HOUSING REPAIR

Tim is willing to help people make their islet houses livable by patching up walls and adding roofs - and now that they have some timber from the monkey compound, that is now much more doable! He will gladly help you make your house more of a house with a roof and shit in exchange for something in return, or you can just owe him a favor.

BULLETIN BOARD?

So, how feasible would it be to put a bulletin board up near the islets mana pool? It could serve as a rudimentary network/IC means of spreading info outside of handwaving it OOC or relying purely on logs. (And it could be easily replaced/left obsolete if the mods intend to introduce a proper network system at some point!)

It would need a few tricky things, though. The board itself could be a simple hardwood frame, softwood board, a bit of a basic roof over it so rain doesn't Fuckign Demolish All of It, but it'd also involve:

- Paper/parchment/vellum/bark/some kind of writing surface
- Pins/nails/adhesive to put notices up
- Writing implements/charcoal

Mana Pool Fortifications

Roy has drawn up some plans to establish a defensive perimeter around the mainland mana pool, with protections against assault as well as buildings suitable for storage and a coop for the bludrocs. To that end, he is looking for people to help build all this, either manual labor or constructive, as well as any suggestions on improving the design either generally or to make use of talents islanders might possess that Roy isn't aware of.

He'll be approaching anyone he sees about this, so anyone who wants OOCly to get involved has an excuse!
