It was a lot and Prompto wasn't nearly as studious about remembering the details as Ignis was, but it was going to be a hard few weeks to forget. All that in-fighting, struggling, losing Luna, Ignis being hurt... it had been crushing. Prompto had tried to cling to hope all the way through and it had been about as easy as climbing up an ice-covered cliff. No matter how hard he tried everything kept crashing back down.
He blinked in surprise when Ignis suddenly asked if he was all right. Physically he was a bit banged up, but he could hardly complain about that when he looked at Ignis. "I'm fine. Nothing lost here but a sense of self identity," he tried to joke feebly. How could he look at Ignis and complain? Ignis couldn't even look back at him.
Still, Ignis' concern put him at ease. In time he would tell him the entire truth. He would tell them all. They deserved to hear it from him so they could make their own decision about him. For the time being it was nice to hear that he was accepted. It was all he wanted. Unconsciously, he placed a hand on top of Ignis', glad to have the physical connection there. The soft squeeze of his hand was the unspoken 'thank you' he got as he tried to act calm and rational and not like he was breaking down.
"I think that pretty much covers it for now. Are you feeling any better?"
