Wade doesn't seem particularly bothered that Guzma doesn't get his reference-- people rarely do. Either that, or they don't want to give him the satisfaction of acknowledging it.

It's a formality by this point, but Tibia gives Guzma her best eye-smile, claws already working to sign out a greeting.
