State of the Game
Hello again, islanders, and welcome newcomers! You've arrived on the cusp of some brand new developments in terms of plot and exploration both! Islanders last month were given the opportunity to vote for whichever destination they wanted to travel to next, and the decision boiled down to an island that contains civilization. You can read up on the brand new island of Ai'tuoh over HERE!

We've loved the feedback we've gotten about the game thus far, positive and negative, and encourage you to contact us whenever you feel it is necessary!

Our intro log will be going up on the comms on March 4th. Until then, a few quick points:

1. Deaths. Remember that, in the event that your character perishes, to let us know so that we can take a note of it, whether or not it counts for your character's total death count! If you're having trouble thinking of a penalty, we can definitely provide one for you. Remember to use the Deaths page for Death Penalty removal as well, once that time is up!

2. AC. We would also like to take this opportunity to remind people to tag their characters in the comms. This is the only compulsory form of AC we have, but after the first few months, we are going to stop warning people for forgetting to tag their character. Characters who fail AC will be swept. An additional reminder, also, to make use of the drop post should your time with LifeAftr come at an end instead of simply idling out; it helps us out a lot!

3. Drops. Sometimes games don't click, or RL takes precedence, and that's fine! In those cases, we would vastly prefer it if you used the drop post instead of idling out of the game, as LifeAftr's AC system means it will take up to two months for you to be removed from the comms.

In the meantime, feel free to use this post as an OOC intro and CR meme for the month of March - for new players to introduce themselves, for old players to meet and greet, and for general plotting to occur! If you want to chat or keep up with game updates, we also have both a plurk and a discord channel!

Tell us about them: Dying girl from a post-apocalyptic world where everyone is dead. She's grown into being a super curious individual that wants to be near e v e r y o n e. She's a literal raccoon that collects trash and thinks that shiny rocks are awesome treasures. Generally ambles around, likes to play games, to be around people and hold hands. Her special talents include hiding from anything that remotely scares her, being a cat whisperer, playing tag, and making flower crowns. She might accidentally steal from you!! But she's doing her best and has a good heart and wants everyone to be happy. Also has a cat friend she will happily ramble about forever. Here's her inventory. Surprise, it's mostly garbage!
Current plans: Jail Ren is offensive in every way to the new island. That's the plan.

Ren is so cute!! I am positive Takane spent each day doing All the Things Ren demanded without complaint. She'll do her best to comfort her in Jail after trying to fail-save everyone.

REN IS BAD BUT TAKANE IS THE TREASURE WE ALL NEED? I love her and I'm v happy she's Ren's new heathen accomplice. Takane's the real mvp. She's gonna coerce her into drawing on houses and stuff with her too sometime, if she'd be up for that. Maybe more arts and crafts.

Also yes, prison buds. Ren will try to comfort her silver haired friend too. They gotta stick together!! They can sing ye olde jail blues.
