OOC INTRO: MARCH

State of the Game
Hello again, islanders, and welcome newcomers! You've arrived on the cusp of some brand new developments in terms of plot and exploration both! Islanders last month were given the opportunity to vote for whichever destination they wanted to travel to next, and the decision boiled down to an island that contains civilization. You can read up on the brand new island of Ai'tuoh over HERE!

We've loved the feedback we've gotten about the game thus far, positive and negative, and encourage you to contact us whenever you feel it is necessary!

Our intro log will be going up on the comms on March 4th. Until then, a few quick points:

1. Deaths. Remember that, in the event that your character perishes, to let us know so that we can take a note of it, whether or not it counts for your character's total death count! If you're having trouble thinking of a penalty, we can definitely provide one for you. Remember to use the Deaths page for Death Penalty removal as well, once that time is up!

2. AC. We would also like to take this opportunity to remind people to tag their characters in the comms. This is the only compulsory form of AC we have, but after the first few months, we are going to stop warning people for forgetting to tag their character. Characters who fail AC will be swept. An additional reminder, also, to make use of the drop post should your time with LifeAftr come at an end instead of simply idling out; it helps us out a lot!

3. Drops. Sometimes games don't click, or RL takes precedence, and that's fine! In those cases, we would vastly prefer it if you used the drop post instead of idling out of the game, as LifeAftr's AC system means it will take up to two months for you to be removed from the comms.

In the meantime, feel free to use this post as an OOC intro and CR meme for the month of March - for new players to introduce themselves, for old players to meet and greet, and for general plotting to occur! If you want to chat or keep up with game updates, we also have both a plurk and a discord channel!

Tell us about yourself: she/her, PST and I'm a licensed optician! I work full time an hour away so Tues-Friday (and half days on Sat) are busy for me and I don't always tag fast, but sometimes I'm thirsty and tag anyway... That's about it.

Tell us about them: The ~Emperor~ of Yumenosaki Academy, which is an academy of all boys (and one new girl) focused on idols! He's been sickly since he was born and can be very fragile for it, but despite that he's caused an idol war and overturned an entire school, even affecting things overseas with his actions. He's from a rich, influential family and he knows how to use that along with all of his other assets to get his way. It's just that he also thinks this is the Right thing to do, no matter how merciless he has to be! He really does mean well, but he's known to be kind of a tyrant and a lot of people are afraid of him. Now, he doesn't regret his actions, but he does realize what he's done and the weight of it and doesn't expect forgiveness from anyone. Tl;dr he's a sweet looking sick boy who will do Anything to get to his goals when he believes they're right.
Current plans: I need more CR in general! Positive, negative, anything anyone wants to throw at me. Tea lover friends, people he can pun with endlessly, someone who can teach him to not say "commoner food" or the like and just teach him what it's like to not be rich, someone who can hook him up with some clothes or help when he nearly dies?? But also people that he can help out in some way with his rambling 5 paragraph speeches on existentialism and who knows what else. Friends... enemies... people he can sing to or people he can encourage to follow their own paths, everything!
