OOC INTRO ( MARCH )
OOC INTRO: MARCH

State of the Game
Hello again, islanders, and welcome newcomers! You've arrived on the cusp of some brand new developments in terms of plot and exploration both! Islanders last month were given the opportunity to vote for whichever destination they wanted to travel to next, and the decision boiled down to an island that contains civilization. You can read up on the brand new island of Ai'tuoh over HERE!
We've loved the feedback we've gotten about the game thus far, positive and negative, and encourage you to contact us whenever you feel it is necessary!
Our intro log will be going up on the comms on March 4th. Until then, a few quick points:
1. Deaths. Remember that, in the event that your character perishes, to let us know so that we can take a note of it, whether or not it counts for your character's total death count! If you're having trouble thinking of a penalty, we can definitely provide one for you. Remember to use the Deaths page for Death Penalty removal as well, once that time is up!In the meantime, feel free to use this post as an OOC intro and CR meme for the month of March - for new players to introduce themselves, for old players to meet and greet, and for general plotting to occur! If you want to chat or keep up with game updates, we also have both a plurk and a discord channel!
2. AC. We would also like to take this opportunity to remind people to tag their characters in the comms. This is the only compulsory form of AC we have, but after the first few months, we are going to stop warning people for forgetting to tag their character. Characters who fail AC will be swept. An additional reminder, also, to make use of the drop post should your time with LifeAftr come at an end instead of simply idling out; it helps us out a lot!
3. Drops. Sometimes games don't click, or RL takes precedence, and that's fine! In those cases, we would vastly prefer it if you used the drop post instead of idling out of the game, as LifeAftr's AC system means it will take up to two months for you to be removed from the comms.
Go ahead and use the template below if you haven't introduced yourself already!

Tell us about yourself: PST! I work full-time on weekdays, so I'm more likely to tag in the evenings or on weekends but I will backtag like a fiend. Addicted to gacha games and Monster Hunter.
Character: Takane Shijou (

Tell us about them: Known as the "Silver Queen" by her fans, Takane is an idol from 765 Productions. She's known for her oddly-colored hair, her elegant and princess-like aura, and having everything beyond her public profile shrouded in mystery. No one knows much about her, where she comes from, and why she wants to be a top idol. Any personal questions directed towards her usually ends up with a change in subject, a vague answer, or simply shutting it down with her catchphrase: "That is top secret/classified information." Rumors have it that she may be an alien from the moon, a royal scion from Germany, or simply from Kyoto. No one really knows.
In reality, she's actually a complete weirdo. She speaks with outdated terminology, can't pronounce modern words properly, and doesn't know how a vending machine works. Waves at billboards like they're actual people. Also, she has a strange fixation on food (especially ramen!) and the moon. Might be a black belt in judo.
Current plans: As she has only been here for one month, I'm looking for CR of any kind with her! Takane is polite and rather easy to get along with, being somewhat passive and will never get jalapeno business. She gets along well with children, having a bit of an older sister type of approach towards others. Since she's weird and a bit air-headed/ignorant towards everything ever, it would be interesting for her to get to know someone who could keep her eccentricities in check and also prevent her from enabling other people's bizarre tendencies.
I think for the first few days, for this new island, Takane will try to contribute by using the fact her appearance and personality is easy to conform with the Unerring Law to her advantage, and try to help in spying/gathering information. However, she's made quite a few friends during her stay here, so when she finds out that they're being drugged and jailed by the island's militia... She's going to try "borrowing" a militia member's possessions and infiltrate the barracks in disguise... only to find out this doesn't work like in the movies and also get drugged and jailed. If you must fail, at least fail with great effort.
Anything else:
