Oh man, you aren't that far in really. How worried are you about spoilers because like everyone is WAY passed where you are. sobs Believe me, when you get farther in, you can tell those parallels are pretty intentional what with having a direct reference to the 'World of Ruin' and Noctis calling Ardyn a 'Jester' to his face.
So...yes on both counts? Ardyn is our 'insane jester' in canon, but we also just had an Ardyn app in so we have him in game too. This is going to be interesting.
Oye, how long until the boys all confuse their Empire and hers? Eh, it probably won't matter. They will just adopt her and feed her and make it all better anyway. :-)
