Prior to coming to LifeAftr, what is an aspect of your character that they struggled with - be it a shortcoming, a fear, a bad habit, or eccentricity? [puts face in hands and screams silently] Family can betray you, Damianos.
What do they struggle with now? Is it the same as the above? He struggles with, uh. Damen's an incredibly good-aligned person, in the D&D sense, so he struggles a lot with gray areas? Like Ai'tuoh, for example. He's not entirely sure that burning it to the ground was the correct choice, but at the same time . . . he's learned that sometimes you do have to burn everything to the ground in order to start over. Moral ambiguities are literally something he's only been dealing with for the past ~year and a half? So he struggles a lot with them.
What is the type of person your character hopes to become? A good king/person. He thought he knew what that meant, but it turns out he didn't so. He's working towards that again.
What is the type of person you hope your character will become? This is going to sound so horrible to anyone who hasn't heard me talk about Damen before but please let Damen become distrustful. Please. Please let him not just look at everyone and assume they're a good person. That's not friend-shaped, Damen, that's the anti-christ.
Do any of the Seven Deadly Sins or Virtues stand out as applicable to your character? Why? Uh, well. The obvious answer is patience, especially given that it has secondary shades of forgiveness and mercy? But essentially Damen is incredibly resilient and endures through a lot of shit even though it kind of just keeps getting worse? In the same vein, his personality lends itself to dilegence. He's super hard working, even when he's not necesscarily sure what he's doing, and once he decides he's doing something, he does it with a dogged determination.
On the flip side, however, you have pride. Damen doesn't tend to have the arrogance that generally goes along with pride, but boy does he ever have a dangerous amount of overconfidence that everything will work out fine. (It doesn't matter that it always does. That's Laurent's work.) Also he's a giant fucking man whore, so we can throw lust on the pile too.

What personal demons, specifically, haunt your character from canon or from past game experiences?
Uhhhhhhhhhh related to the last answer, boy is there a lot of moral ambiguity in a situation where your fiancé used to own you as a slave and you murdered his brother and your countries used to be mortal enemies and one time he whipped you so badly you almost died. Oh, and he killed your brother. Oh! And he's some kinda witch or some shit you don't really understand and you're pretending it doesn't exist. You know, it's just. It's mess, and Damen did not realize how much of a mess it was until arriving here.
