Casey here with the monthly trading post! For those that are new, this post is mainly meant to be used as an OOC way to make IC trades and arrangements without necessarily having to thread them out! Below are comments for trading and offered services, search parties, community projects, and player-maintained establishments! Feel free to post things your character has been working on, or ideas that you've come up with and want to see how well it will be received!

TRADING AND OFFERED SERVICES

Character: Laurent
Services: Just wanted to publicise that Laurent has a draft horse that can be used to haul heavy loads around! It's technically his husband's, but r's been on hiatus for a while so Laurent's probably been ICly managing the horse.

You will probably need to prepare a convincing case since Laurent isn't..... the friendliest.... but feel free to drop me a line if you have some kind of construction / restocking / etc. project and we can work something out!

Inventory: Items available to trade include a shaving razor, jug of condensed milk, demonic circlet.
Services: Starflight is a dragon, he can fly stuff around the islands for you, and do basically any labor a horse could. He's not great at hunting but if you need someone/something to herd prey from above he can help there too. He is also a convenient source of fire, should you need it.
Looking for: Materials and/or assistance to help him fix a shack so he can fit through the door; Parchment/paper/scrolls/ink for writing.

Character: Héctor vagabone
Inventory: Unless your character wants pretty rocks, corn (AND CORN ACCESSORIES!!), or a couple of jump ropes, he... doesn't have much to trade.
Services: Can cook well, can throw together all kinds of DIY nonsense out of scraps, can provide... moral support?? He's not the least bit strong, so he's a bit limited, but he's friendly and he'll certainly try.
Looking for: Honestly, just company and ways to keep busy!

DENNY is still up and running, but the CARPENTRY only really got prepped and ready this month. If anyone has questions on either of those things, wants to work at Denny, or want to enlist Tim's services for any reason, let me know!

Starflight doesn't have much to offer other than labor so far (and a wood drill? I guess?), but he may need some assistance at some point with widening doors to select buildings.

LIBRARY - HELP?

Sooooo the Drifter helped set down the Library building that's chilling on Ensō, but there's not really anything INSIDE IT. so if anyone has requests for supplies, books, anything like that - maybe maps? the Drifter has a TON OF STORIES saved up so just let me know!!

If the library is ICly publicised Laurent would be up for pitching in some stories too!

he wants Everything. He'd be interested More Shelves, and maybe some desiccants since Enso's humidity is bad for books. On the book side, some storybooks from different worlds would be nice, but his first priority is probably fussing over the books that other people have brought in already.

if all goes well, there will be a public Bulletin Rock Post where people can put down their requests for what they'd want requested, plus an option for crowdsourcing!

I don't know if this is the kind of thing The Drifter would need assistance with, but Starflight would be overjoyed to help maintain the library! And would certainly have a list of things he feels should be included once he gets an idea of what is there.

He would certainly offer his services as a scribe for the crowdsourcing project, assuming he can get his claws on some paper/ink.

oh ABSOLUTELY. the drifter does not actually know how to maintain a library lmao they just are super interested in history and stuff. paper and ink they'd be happy to request as well (dragon-sized, if necessary lmao)

Awesome! Starflight is pretty good with scrolls and stuff and taking care of them, he would be thrilled to help. He actually becomes a librarian later in his canon, so this would be perfect.

CLINIC/INFIRMARY

Since a month ago, the Nari Nishitani Infirmary & Clinic has been undergoing significant renovations - spearheaded by Doctor Faust, who has put out a call requesting the aid of volunteers willing to lend a helping hand!
Healers and labourers alike are welcome to assist as little or as much as they want!
