State of the Game
Hello, and welcome adventurers, old and new! April was a month of changes and cycles and rebirth and renewal, as evidenced by the volcanic eruption on the island of Cahypdo and the strange effects that's had on the ages of characters and NPCs alike. Thankfully, by the time April has concluded, things will be restored to normal...or whatever passes for normal here, in any case.

We've loved the feedback we've gotten about the game thus far, positive and negative, and encourage you to contact us whenever you feel it is necessary!

Our intro log will be going up on the comms on May 4th. Until then, a few quick points:

1. Cahypdo. We recommend that anyone new to the game take the opportunity to read up on the island of Cahypdo, as well as trade with the Roaka, the local populace, if that interests them. Cahypdo will be vanishing when Storytelling goes up on May 20th, so get in any explorations while you can!

2. New Island. The votes are in, and islanders voted to go to the second option presented - the one represented by green flames and strange starburst patterns reminiscent of explosions. The new island will join LifeAftr's shores on May 10th, when it will become accessible for exploration!

In the meantime, feel free to use this post as an OOC intro and CR meme for the month of April - for new players to introduce themselves, for old players to meet and greet, and for general plotting to occur! If you want to chat or keep up with game updates, we also have both a plurk and a discord channel!

Extremely true, a blessed take.

I don't know how she'd react to being mommed at, actually! She's grown much more independent from lowkey absorbing Guzma's attitude alongside her own personal growth, so it'd be very interesting to see what she'd think of Toriel in general. If she would appreciate the "softer than Guzma's school of get mad" influence of a momfriend or if she'd bristle at the idea of someone trying to step into that role. That said, I'd love to explore that kind of cr!

I think Hector and Zidane were going to play some sort of card game together and bond more so that would be fun (also be a bit weird after the whole de-aging event so that might be taken into account).

GOD PLEASE. The thing is, he's actually a pretty good learned when he sets his mind on something, and he CAN fight?? Like, he knows how to throw a punch and stay on his feet and take a hit, but it's not...practiced? It's more like basic fist-fighting, not actual martial arts.

Tell us about yourself: PST (GMT-8? i dont speak metric) and EXTREMELY BUSY with work (at least through the end of this month). I only care about lizards and frogs and bionicle lbr (also soul eater).
Character: Yukio Okumura reflash, he's from Blue Exorcist and also a CRAU from Lost Carnival (so he's got a LOT of body mods, listed here)
Permissions: here, mostly I'm cool with anything but I really like negative CR so if you don't lmk and I'll make sure that things are friendly!
Tell us about them: An overly serious 16 year old who is Doing His Best even though his dad is dead and his brother is the son of Satan and his entire world is falling apart around him. He's good at shooting things, extremely good at exorcisms, and worked as a medic at his last game.
Current plans: Arrived last month, so most of his first month was taken up with being six or eight years old, but his big project is figuring out how to get a functioning medic station set up near a mana pool, as well as getting that all set up to handle emergencies. He doesn't know how to make friends, but he's extremely good at being polite and making people think he's friendly.
