OOC INTRO: SEPTEMBER

State of the Game
Hello and welcome to our newest arrivals! And to those of you checking in on the state of things - welcome back! Last month, explorations on the island of Nastrandir sparked a massive turf war that pitted friends and family against one another to disastrous ends. But that doesn't mean it was all completely useless trauma. After all, some of those memories you got had some answers buried in them somewhere, didn't they?

We've loved the feedback we've gotten about the game thus far, positive and negative, and encourage you to contact us whenever you feel it is necessary!

Our intro log will be going up on the comms on September 4th. Until then, a few quick points:

1. Nastrandir. The island of Nastrandir is still in the archipelago, and there are still significant portions of it remain uncharted. There are potential resources and potential dangers that may still be uncovered...as well as a few more answers as to what happened to you all last month. We recommend that any new arrivals read up on the island's introductory post, as well as its rundown on the Locations page.

2. Storytelling. Remember that you have until September 4th (EST) to submit to this month's Storytelling, as it went up a little later than usual this month! Get those stories in if you haven't already!

3. The Next Chapter. Following the exploration of Nastrandir, the coming months will likely see a few changes coming to the game in terms of NPCs, plot elements, and interactable aspects of the setting as LifeAftr enters its next stage. This may also involve some adjustment of our current scheduling, among other things. Stay tuned for further updates down the road!

In the meantime, feel free to use this post as an OOC intro and CR meme for the month of September - for new players to introduce themselves, for old players to meet and greet, and for general plotting to occur! If you want to chat or keep up with game updates, we also have both a plurk and a discord channel!
