Henlo friembs I have a few things to enquire with you today!
IC Info Sharing
Chara has recently acquired a handy dandy notebook! With this tool in their arsenal, they intend to do what they do best- be completely invasive of other's privacy and stubbornly attempt to strong arm them into sharing all of their secrets.
Essentially, they'd like to catalog the abilities and skills people on the island have, with the intent of having this be public knowledge. With this, characters will be capable of locating others who may have the skills they need to get a job done, flesh out a party of adventurers, or beg for certain resources...such as clothes.
Rather than take up everyone's time with sixty plus threads of Chara getting this info, I have a handy dandy little textarea to fill out with what your character would be willing to divulge. Note that Chara will make it clear that this info will be public knowledge, and that when a network goes up, they have full intentions of putting it up there.
Sign Language sign ups!
It's been mentioned a couple of times that people would be interested in their characters learning or teaching sign language! So another handy little textarea below has some initial info to collect about that, after which I'll pop up a new thread for people to elect who they want to learn from/who they're already teaching!
As Laura has pointed out, this is also a cool opportunity for the variety of languages known to adopt a island specific pidgin- mingling together a bunch of knowledge to create something entirely new. All of this stuff has the opportunity to be handwaved or threaded out, so it's a nice opportunity for new or continuing CR!
And now, the textareas

Her special tonic is staying a secret though

Combat, both long-range and short. Mapping and exploration. Affinity for handling various kinds of weapons, including blades, firearms, and explosives. Ability to move very quickly for very brief windows of time and just a general ability for covering a lot of ground.
(no subject)
Am I allowed to list 'Puns/Bad Jokes' as one of his skills?
Weapon summoning (his daggers), Analyze/Libra (magically discovers an enemy's stengths/weaknesses), minor regeneration & moral boost (moral boost has proven to slightly increase the power of magical attacks for those whose magic is tied to their emotions--for example, Muffet from Undertale), cooking, general first aid/survival skills, sewing, trained in strategy/tactics extensively, general battle skill (acrobatics, hit and run), extensively trained in dagger use with polearms as a secondary focus, walking encyclopedia of way too much odd information.
Note: Still adjusting to his lost vision, so that will obviously affect several of the above listed skills/abilities.

Basic first aid, knots (he'll say "lashing," but he actually knows several different knot skills including macrame), weaving, swimming (mostly said because Chara's asking), trees

Healing and gardening, with some burgeoning study of medicinal plants. And religious services.

What abilities/skills would your character be happy to provide as public knowledge?
Hunting, the average human’s ability to craft/collect resources. He can also get ice for people?? Basic knowledge of animals??? Oh, a great deal of sea-salt from his still. Please take some of his salt.
If asked: yes, he’s good in combat & favors the sword.
He'll ask specifically that Chara does not publicise his horse. She's not a farm appliance, and no one’d better be thinking otherwise.

Re: IC INFO
The only thing I can think of right now is passing along the magic skills he learned from a friend - a basic healing spell (will cure small cuts/bruises/burns) and a basic fire spell (enough for a small campfire).
(no subject)

Mild farming, good for hard labor, good at investigative work, cleaning, and rudimentary carpentry.
(no subject)
no subject
Combat-oriented spells, a quick and dirty healing spell that's great for adventuring, scouting and foraging, and cooking (but more importantly: eating).
no subject
Hunting, both for food and for treasure. Incredible sense of smell and hearing. Storing and drying foods to preserve them. Close range combat, down to spar. He'll mention his transformation too, so he can help with heavy lifting or other heavy physical labour jobs if really needed to in a pinch.
no subject
A whole lotta medical knowledge, identification and application of medicinal plants, a tiny bit of firecraft, and scouting.
no subject
running the
fantasy walmartisland's only trading post, small and large scale fire magic, mainly long range magical combat, hunting with a spell that literally can't miss, being an excellent cook, knowing how to party, up for training any time, Kidwun.(no subject)

Fire magic, vaguely defined 'combat skills', and that's about all he's gonna talk about because ha ha, being helpful.

sleeping, bad jokes, napping, japes, dozing, checking his sockets for light leaks, literally holding down the fort by lying on it, get outta here kid.

- Skilled at combat (swords, whip-like items, projectiles - beads can be shot like bullets, reflector acts as a shield)
- Bloom (can grow a small patch of unripened vegetables or fruit, or assist already established farms become more fertile, can create large lily pads that can support herself and one other adult).
- Fire (Ammy can move the flames from her reflector to ignite things or plainly set shit on fire).
- Waterspout (can move water 10 feet from its source)
- Thunderstorm (can redirect lightning)
- Foraging.
- Tracking. (she's a fucking wolf)
- She will probably (definitely) feed and water kept livestock.
- Super strength and speed in small bursts.
- Herding.
- Fishing. She can make line for people to use and direct the hook to a fish magically.
For a full look at Ammy's skills, PLEASE SEE MY PERMISSIONS POST. There is a list there to her Brush Skills and what each does. Obviously, she comes with a depowering, so some are nerfed and some are one use daily.
Ammy also WILL NOT hunt and kill another animal to eat it. Nor will she assist in doing that. She will perhaps guide a person to a herd such, but she won't be the cause for the creature's death unless that person is being attacked.

- Golisopod can ferry people across bodies of water for a shirt while. (Ride that SURF)
- Ariados can create silk to use as ropes, clothing material, nets for fishing, and as a damn good binding material.
- She can also secrete a dastardly poison to assist for self defense or hunting. Small, diluted doses of it act as a paralyzing agent so prey become incapable of moving.
- Some tactical knowledge (he's a skilled pokemon battler, but not a strategist).
- RAW STRENGTH. Guzma is a wall of muscle and he is pretty fit. He can lift heavy objects relatively well and help with some things that require hard labor.
- He can cook well enough to sustain himself and Luna.
- He can SWIM (neener neener, you little fucktruck).
- Some knowledge of plants (mostly flowers).
- A huge love and knowledge of insects. Mostly pokemon insects, but since many are based on actual ones...yeah, he knows his bugs.
- A mediocre handyman.
- Survival knowledge. (he ran away from home at thereabout 11/12 and pokemon trainers are literally let into the world at that age to fend for themselves, so yeah...he knows his shit).

If approached, Chara would just get a shrug and a "Can't rightly say I'm in the best position to offer anything."
It's been a rough past month for him, ok.

Spellwise:
--Taako can transmute things into other things, with several limitations he would be cagey
about delineating IC.
--He can also make just like a Titanic-sinking amount of ice, and people could even watch that happen.
--Has a decent long-range attack spell that will /mostly/ hit and a crowd-control spell that
is only /kinda/ gross.
--He can Levitate things under 500lb, but not forever.
--can also do a lot of useless Prestidigitation, sparks, sounds, flavours, etc.
--Nonmagically, he can cook, and would gladly give cooking related 'advice.'
--really good at fishing!! someone should test that some day.
--he could try to teach magic but who even knows if that would work, that's someone else's world to build.
--he /has/ taught swimming, he /would/ teach surfing as soon as he takes it up again, which will probably happen.

Combat training and instruction, survival training, her biotic abilities, weaponry proficiency (most of it is with guns but she's got some melee stuff with knives and whatnot), linguistics, and front line trauma care.

Re: SIGN LANGUAGE
She took an elective class very briefly back in whatever the Underground's educational system has as an equivalent to sophomore year of high school. That was like nine years ago and she remembers maybe five words of what she learned, so. Not exactly an expert, to say the least.
Would you like to have your character learn or teach?
Learn, please.
