OOC INTRO: SEPTEMBER

State of the Game
Welcome, newcomers, and hello again to the oldcomers! August was a dark time for us all - our character death tally hit new records with the latest event - but that doesn't mean you can't turn this around! You all clearly have a great deal that's been repressed and hidden. Doesn't it feel so much better to have that all out in the open?

...well, we thought so.

We've loved the feedback we've gotten about the game thus far, positive and negative, and encourage you to contact us whenever you feel it is necessary!

Our intro log will be going up on the comms on September 4th. Until then, a few quick points:

1. Umui. The island of Umui is still present in the archipelago, and has shown no sign of departing anytime soon. There are still some pockets of exploration to be had, and certain characters don't seem to want to say goodbye to ARUM-25 just yet. You might also be interested in looking over the information players have helped consolidate in regards to what is this island's...deal, exactly.

1. Deaths. Remember that, in the event of your character's death, to let us know so we can account for it. Don't forget to request the removal of your death penalty!

3. New Island. On September 10th, the fourth island the Storyteller promised will be making its debut! This one, if you recall, is laden with a great deal of animals, though the risks and dangers of this new land are not yet known. You can expect more information on what the latest island will entail soon!

In the meantime, feel free to use this post as an OOC intro and CR meme for the month of August - for new players to introduce themselves, for old players to meet and greet, and for general plotting to occur! If you want to chat or keep up with game updates, we also have both a plurk and a discord channel!

Tell us about them: She's a little dying lab experiment Gone Wrong that comes from a post apocalyptic world where humanity is like super dead. All she wants to do is hold hands with people and learn about every single ding dang person. Would probably die for someone if they smile at her. She's childish, kind and scared of her own shadow, but does her best being a raccoon. Lives at elfcamp, does some casual breaking at entering, likes making plant crowns-really she's just hanging out. Come be a dingus with her. Also has a cat friend and would trade anything for a shiny rock or two. i'm lazy and gotta update it still but u know.

Current plans: Any type of cr is adored! She won't be exploring Umui anymore or animal island because dying will Do That to a person, so she'll be hanging around Enso and the islets for the foreseeable future. Up for anything, always! Dumb shenans, kitty parties, treasure hunting tours, ghost lessons-hit ya gurl up. Just nothing with flowers...okay......great.

IIIII have heard SO MUCH about Ren from Laura and Jazzy and I would absolutely love for Newt to have some CR with her!! He's pretty good with kids and is always down for dumb shenanigans o/

she's like super scared of scientists tho so that might be A Problem in the future, but i can't imagine her not adoring newt honestly. he could turn her entire opinion of them around.
