State of the Game
Hello, and welcome, to both new arrivals and more seasoned explorers! The month of February, short as it was, nonetheless saw a brief opportunity to relax and unwind, in the form of some recreational island-painting. We hope the break was restful and rejuvenating, because there's going to be a new island this month...

We've loved the feedback we've gotten about the game thus far, positive and negative, and encourage you to contact us whenever you feel it is necessary!

Our intro log will be going up on the comms on March 4th. Until then, a few quick points:

1. Monsun. The island of Monsun has been present in the archipelago for the last month or two, but it won't be for much longer! If you have any business you wish to complete there, be sure to do it soon; it will be disappearing from the archipelago as of March 20th.

2. New Island. The votes are in, and the majority of characters opted to vote for the island represented by orange flames, a towering mountain, and a village or ruin beside it. This new island will be available on March 10th for exploration.

3. Game Updates. Our mumble-monthly State of the Game posts have declined in frequency, in large part due to a lack of notable updates. However, a new State of the Game post will be going up relatively soon with some important updates, some important thank yous, and also a player poll!

In the meantime, feel free to use this post as an OOC intro and CR meme for the month of March - for new players to introduce themselves, for old players to meet and greet, and for general plotting to occur! If you want to chat or keep up with game updates, we also have both a plurk and a discord channel!

Oh, that sounds fun! Asgore's kinda in a similar boat - he's actually quite good at socializing like a normal person once he's there, but he's got some weird hang-ups about people not actually really wanting to associate with him so he's not great at initiating unless it's with someone he already knows fairly well. Even then it's a bit of a crapshoot.

Fun fact: one of the first people who met him when he arrived here was Mickey Mouse, who proceeded to threaten him to stay away from everybody because Chara had told him about Asgore having killed human children! So that was hilarious in concept but super did not help, he didn't talk to anybody for like a month.

But no, he definitely does want to spend time with him, he finds Asgore to be an interesting person and he's actually not terrible at initiating? He's just bad at the actually knowing what to do once he's there, because casual conversation isn't really something he did a lot of over the past long while. Commandant first, actual person second, etc.

So we can definitely let them chill for a while if you want, he's down for it.
