State of the Game
Hello, and welcome, to both new arrivals and more seasoned explorers! The month of February, short as it was, nonetheless saw a brief opportunity to relax and unwind, in the form of some recreational island-painting. We hope the break was restful and rejuvenating, because there's going to be a new island this month...

We've loved the feedback we've gotten about the game thus far, positive and negative, and encourage you to contact us whenever you feel it is necessary!

Our intro log will be going up on the comms on March 4th. Until then, a few quick points:

1. Monsun. The island of Monsun has been present in the archipelago for the last month or two, but it won't be for much longer! If you have any business you wish to complete there, be sure to do it soon; it will be disappearing from the archipelago as of March 20th.

2. New Island. The votes are in, and the majority of characters opted to vote for the island represented by orange flames, a towering mountain, and a village or ruin beside it. This new island will be available on March 10th for exploration.

3. Game Updates. Our mumble-monthly State of the Game posts have declined in frequency, in large part due to a lack of notable updates. However, a new State of the Game post will be going up relatively soon with some important updates, some important thank yous, and also a player poll!

In the meantime, feel free to use this post as an OOC intro and CR meme for the month of March - for new players to introduce themselves, for old players to meet and greet, and for general plotting to occur! If you want to chat or keep up with game updates, we also have both a plurk and a discord channel!

Permissions: I have a slightly outdated permissions post here but I haven't had a chance to make a CRAU/game specific one yet! SO UH, I'LL GET BACK TO YOU ON THAT ONE.
Tell us about them: Oh fuck. Oh Christ. I thought I'd gotten away without having to summarize Airlocked AND NOW MY HUBRID RETURNS TO BITE ME
So, Yuuri's a gentle but terrifying nee-san, who was the Team Mom of a cast of adorable moe girls, from an adorable moe slice of life story that got violently derailed when the zombie apocalypse happened. It wasn't great!! After a year or so of surviving this, all four of them got kidnapped to take part in an interdimensional murdergame TV show. That part was ESPECIALLY not great, but we're coping with it. Yuuri finally learned some fucking healthy coping mechanisms jesus christ, survived the murdergame, died, got engaged and was eventually reunited with her canonmates, including her dead little sister and moved to P5 era Japan (yes, in that order).

She's coming from about a year and some change after all the dust settled on that nasty murder business, so she's... mostly got her shit together by this point. She's still a fussy and extremely powerful team mom, but she's actually some measure of well-adjusted and leagues more emotionally healthy than she was in canon. Mostly she's just gonna be a little steamed that she's getting interdimensionally kidnapped from a chill slice of life AGAIN.
Current plans: No concrete plans! I have some pre-baked CR already in the game with the Airlocked crew, so I imagine she'll be reconnecting with friends and trying to be totally cool, chill and fine with a bunch of the people she's closest to back home being strangers to her, here. WE HAVE FUN IN DWRP. Aside from that, I'm mostly going throgh the usual dance of just getting her settled and probably also finding some kind of job or recurring duty for her? Since she tends to settle best when she has Things To Do.

Also, as mentioned above, she's a dyed-in-the-wool Team Mom so if you have any dumbasses, kids or dumbass kids who need a voice of reason or just, any impulse control whatsoever, YUURI'S ON THE CASE
