OOC INTRO: JUNE

State of the Game
...now, now. Don't look at us like that. We know that at least some of you were happy to see the end of Bliss.

Welcome, new arrivals, and hello again to the oldcomers! May sure was a busy month for all of us, wasn't it? Between exploring an island, fighting some sentient plants, and killing a god, you islanders have been awfully busy. The island of Ziziphus won't be around for much longer, we're sorry to say - but we still do recommend that newcomers read up on said island on either the locations page or its introduction post, so they have some context for the intro log!

We've loved the feedback we've gotten about the game thus far, positive and negative, and encourage you to contact us whenever you feel it is necessary!

Our intro log will be going up on the comms on June 4th. Until then, a few quick points:

1. Deaths. Remember that, in the event that your character perishes, to let us know so that we can take a note of it, whether or not it counts for your character's total death count! If you're having trouble thinking of a penalty, we can definitely provide one for you. Remember to use the Deaths page for Death Penalty removal as well, once that time is up!

2. AC. As of last month, we've officially switched to the ACSavior tool! This means that, while we no longer require that you tag your characters in the comms to have your AC counted, we strongly recommend it for housekeeping purposes! Characters who fail AC will be swept. We will also be following up with players who are getting consistent strikes or regularly passing with the bare minimum. An additional reminder, also, to make use of the drop post should your time with LifeAftr come at an end instead of simply idling out; it helps us out a lot!

3. Setting Changes. As we mentioned earlier, Ziziphus won't be around for very much longer - the god that lived there certainly lived there, to a very, er, "in-depth" extent. For those who were with us back in December, you'll be seeing a very familiar shape on the horizon, come this month's intro...

In the meantime, feel free to use this post as an OOC intro and CR meme for the month of June - for new players to introduce themselves, for old players to meet and greet, and for general plotting to occur! If you want to chat or keep up with game updates, we also have both a plurk and a discord channel!

He's a gunslinger and actual inventor of the firearm in his world, on top of being an armchair lawyer who can probably argue his way out of everything. He is very smart and he knows it. I AM WATCHING CRITROLE FIRST CAMPAIGN NOW AND I FUCKIN???? LOVE???? PERCY SO MUCH????? I'm only on episode 15, weh, but man I am so excited to play with characters from this campaign, my homeslice, you have no idea. They've got so much personality and depth I am ascending.

HI MY NAME IS ROXY. I play YA BOY Guzma here from Pokemon Sun/Moon (game verse) as well as Amaterasu from Okami over at mamaterasu. I've actually been hoping to have Guzma learn to use a gun since they're NO ME GUSTA in his canon, but he understands the necessity on the islands, so there's a chance for CR there?? idk I just wanna. hold u. /grabbyhands.

LISTEN. EVEN IF HE ASKED FOR A GUN FROM THE STORYTELLER, IT'D PROBABLY BE AN OLDER STYLE PISTOL OR REVOLVER OR WHATEVER. So considering that, Percy's his best bet at utilizing a gun. Besides, Percy can make them, so if anything ever goes wrong with his, Guzma can learn to fix it. ALSOX500, older guns are gorgeous?? Like. Holy shit. Look at these fucking beauties.
