State of the Game
...now, now. Don't look at us like that. We know that at least some of you were happy to see the end of Bliss.

Welcome, new arrivals, and hello again to the oldcomers! May sure was a busy month for all of us, wasn't it? Between exploring an island, fighting some sentient plants, and killing a god, you islanders have been awfully busy. The island of Ziziphus won't be around for much longer, we're sorry to say - but we still do recommend that newcomers read up on said island on either the locations page or its introduction post, so they have some context for the intro log!

We've loved the feedback we've gotten about the game thus far, positive and negative, and encourage you to contact us whenever you feel it is necessary!

Our intro log will be going up on the comms on June 4th. Until then, a few quick points:

1. Deaths. Remember that, in the event that your character perishes, to let us know so that we can take a note of it, whether or not it counts for your character's total death count! If you're having trouble thinking of a penalty, we can definitely provide one for you. Remember to use the Deaths page for Death Penalty removal as well, once that time is up!

2. AC. As of last month, we've officially switched to the ACSavior tool! This means that, while we no longer require that you tag your characters in the comms to have your AC counted, we strongly recommend it for housekeeping purposes! Characters who fail AC will be swept. We will also be following up with players who are getting consistent strikes or regularly passing with the bare minimum. An additional reminder, also, to make use of the drop post should your time with LifeAftr come at an end instead of simply idling out; it helps us out a lot!

3. Setting Changes. As we mentioned earlier, Ziziphus won't be around for very much longer - the god that lived there certainly lived there, to a very, er, "in-depth" extent. For those who were with us back in December, you'll be seeing a very familiar shape on the horizon, come this month's intro...

In the meantime, feel free to use this post as an OOC intro and CR meme for the month of June - for new players to introduce themselves, for old players to meet and greet, and for general plotting to occur! Tell us about yourself: EST, she/her! I regularly hit threads every 2-3 days; I play a couple of characters in other games so it's mostly due to volume. However I'm online a lot, so if you need something to go faster/hash something out let me know!!

Tell us about them: A thousand-plus year old undead reaper of death for a queen of death, and acts significantly goofier than that sounds. Takes his job a bit too seriously, but compassionate and a nerd at heart. Completely too awkward to know how to exist properly. Used to be a skeleton and is doing kind of a poor job at adjusting to no longer being a skeleton. Getting a little better at not yelling at everyone who's ever died before, but like, still kind of doing that. Mostly mess, partially competent.

Current plans: Kravitz is still pretty knew but he's a little shaken up from the whole Bliss thing last month, so he's chillin' close to his cast + Ren because she's very nice to him and he needs that. Still looking to expand his CR circle, he's finally getting in decent talking range with a few others (Myia, Prompto, Shepard) but I want to throw him ~everywhere~ so hit me!!
