OOC INTRO: OCTOBER

State of the Game
Welcome, newcomers, and hello again to the oldcomers! September brought with it a new island, and along with it the promise of plenty. You've all been working awfully hard to renovate Ensō - but as much as you've done, there's still lots more to do!

We've loved the feedback we've gotten about the game thus far, positive and negative, and encourage you to contact us whenever you feel it is necessary!

Our intro log will be going up on the comms on October 4th. Until then, a few quick points:

1. Umui. The island of Umui is still present in the archipelago...though we can't say how much longer it will last. ARUM-25 has started to remember something, and once the Storyteller returns...well, who knows what will happen!

2. Nuidan. The island of Nuidan is still present in the archipelago as well! Characters, new and old, are welcome to sign up for tasks and rewards, as well as propose tasks and rewards of their own if it suits them.

3. Storyteller's Absence. As of October 4th, the same day as this month's intro log, the Storyteller will be departing to seek out new islands for your exploration. The consequences of this absence are yet to be seen...but bear in mind, that from October 4th onward, IC contact threads with the Storyteller and Item Requests will be temporarily unavailable. We will let you know as to the date of their return. However, if you need some vital backdated, just let us know!

In the meantime, feel free to use this post as an OOC intro and CR meme for the month of October - for new players to introduce themselves, for old players to meet and greet, and for general plotting to occur! If you want to chat or keep up with game updates, we also have both a plurk and a discord channel!

Character: The Hollow Knight sealedvessel
Permissions: Just a lil permissions post for spoilers for now, I'll expand that to a proper one, but this is the main use for it.
Tell us about them: The Hollow Knight is a walking spoiler for the game Hollow Knight, so... sorry about that, oops. They're a big sad bug and kind of Tired and Resigned all the time. They also can't talk. Or really communicate much at all, yet, so bear with them. They're doing their best.
Current plans: They're going to be incredibly confused and disoriented, for so many reasons. Be nice to the new arrival. Expect to see them around the Knight a lot, because sibling. Anyway, open to like everything, since they're new? Come at them.
