OOC INTRO: OCTOBER

State of the Game
Welcome, newcomers, and hello again to the oldcomers! September brought with it a new island, and along with it the promise of plenty. You've all been working awfully hard to renovate Ensō - but as much as you've done, there's still lots more to do!

We've loved the feedback we've gotten about the game thus far, positive and negative, and encourage you to contact us whenever you feel it is necessary!

Our intro log will be going up on the comms on October 4th. Until then, a few quick points:

1. Umui. The island of Umui is still present in the archipelago...though we can't say how much longer it will last. ARUM-25 has started to remember something, and once the Storyteller returns...well, who knows what will happen!

2. Nuidan. The island of Nuidan is still present in the archipelago as well! Characters, new and old, are welcome to sign up for tasks and rewards, as well as propose tasks and rewards of their own if it suits them.

3. Storyteller's Absence. As of October 4th, the same day as this month's intro log, the Storyteller will be departing to seek out new islands for your exploration. The consequences of this absence are yet to be seen...but bear in mind, that from October 4th onward, IC contact threads with the Storyteller and Item Requests will be temporarily unavailable. We will let you know as to the date of their return. However, if you need some vital backdated, just let us know!

In the meantime, feel free to use this post as an OOC intro and CR meme for the month of October - for new players to introduce themselves, for old players to meet and greet, and for general plotting to occur! If you want to chat or keep up with game updates, we also have both a plurk and a discord channel!

/SLAMS HANDS i am so excited for the amount of Critters in this game, holy shit. Once again I haven't started the second campaign yet because I'm a fool and determined to finish the first one before i start the second (SOB I'M SO CLOSE...EPISODE 93) but BOY I DIE. All these good good eggs.

I'm almost guaranteed Ammy would adore Yasha on sight once she learns she's just a big, soft, good bear of a woman. I mean, she'd love Yasha regardless, but TWICE AS HARD MOMDOG LOVE!!!!! comin 4 ur butt

I also play Guzma and would love for Yasha to just fucking benchpress him. do it. blease.

It's really good, but yeah I won't lie it's very long. If you're not committed (or just plain pigheaded, like me), then it'll take the better part of proooobably a year to complete, lmfao. BUT I AM....SO CLOSE.......!!! I just love all these stupid damaged idiots so much and I'm ready to cry about new ones when this campaign ends.

SHE IS SO FRIENDLY and will grow lil flowers for Yasha to collect because that's super cute and boy i die. GONNA GIVE THIS GORL A CHERRY BLOSSOM which is even cuter since apparently they symbolize friendship and alliance. ;w; ♥

yeah i think that i will definitely have to wait until c2 is over before i think of starting c1... maybe some day... i just remember seeing all the photosets of laura and liam weeping into their dice boxes and i WANNA KNOW THE DETAILS SO BADLY

oh man, c1 is a CRAZY ride and there's a lot of like, hilarious and really tear-jerking moments, like. GOD. I am going to fistfight Sam Riegel for breaking my fragile little heart again and again. 1V1 ME, SCRUB. I'm still so jealous of Alex that she got to meet and hug the Critrole cast and got Momlan to sign a SPOON for her.

this is so cute, I'm gonna die. I am literally kicking my feet so hard to start c2, I am ready to fucking adore all these idiot characters. I'm also super ready to fall in love with Jester, she just seems so cute and funny and pure af. ALSO IT'S GONNA BE SO FUN TO WATCH A CAMPAIGN FROM THE VERY START??? Like, c1 actually started a year or so before they recorded it, iirc. They were already well into lv. 6+ or so when the recordings came out, so starting fresh is gonna be such a treat.

OH MAN I LOVE DOING NUZLOCKES. I'm actually doing one for Ultra Moon right now because I ove dying and being dead. Moon was hard to do but I managed to beat it with like...2 pokemon left alive. ;w; My starter and my Chandelure. Best girls. ♥ GOOD LUCK, FAM, IT'S TOUGH BUT DOABLE!!! Also for the final like...trial thing?? The dragon one?? If you bring a fairy pokemon, you will literally oneshot the Totem and its helper it's a fucking joke. USUM made it harder but the original is a blood bath if you have a strong fairy type.
