OOC INTRO: JANUARY

State of the Game
Welcome, newcomers, and hello again to the oldcomers! December was a month of tribulations and Trials, many of them literal. The true purpose of the newest island to the archipelago, Maati, was revealed, and you all faced challenges tailored to each of you. Some of you succeeded! And some of you did not.

We've loved the feedback we've gotten about the game thus far, positive and negative, and encourage you to contact us whenever you feel it is necessary!

Our intro log will be going up on the comms on January 5th. Until then, a few quick points:

1. Nuidan. The island of Nuidan will be disappearing from the archipelago by January 10th. There's still time to sign up for backdated tasks and rewards before the island is no longer accessible!

2. Maati. The island of Maati is still present in the archipelago. Those of you who opted in to last month's event should let us know if they succeeded or failed, so that they may be rewarded accordingly! Remember, also, to let us know if your character used up all their deaths, and must face a penalty.

In the meantime, feel free to use this post as an OOC intro and CR meme for the month of January - for new players to introduce themselves, for old players to meet and greet, and for general plotting to occur! If you want to chat or keep up with game updates, we also have both a plurk and a discord channel!

Tell us about them: Pyrrha's a good, good girl who wants to help people and has never done a bad thing in her life. Originally, she hailed from the world of Remnant, which she accidentally left in a mess after accidentally killing a robot. Then she was kidnapped and taken to an alternate universe in the future where she participated in a space murdergame called Airlocked. (theairlock). She escaped with her friends, became a space pirate, and went on to save a planet called Flavortown. Long story short, she's come a long way, but she's adjusting well to life here...
Current plans: ...That being said, her girlfriend just disappeared, (There's a brand new post about that right here) and she's still recoiling a little from the Trials last month. Right now, I'm looking for more positive CR so Pyrrha can stop stewing by herself, and even negative CR if you don't like someone who will always offer to help because the trials taught her nothing.

Currently, she's looking after Nari's clinic. Just keeping it tidy and protecting it from thieves and stuff. Come talk to her there, or fight her. Whichever.
