OOC INTRO: JANUARY

State of the Game
Welcome, newcomers, and hello again to the oldcomers! December was a month of tribulations and Trials, many of them literal. The true purpose of the newest island to the archipelago, Maati, was revealed, and you all faced challenges tailored to each of you. Some of you succeeded! And some of you did not.

We've loved the feedback we've gotten about the game thus far, positive and negative, and encourage you to contact us whenever you feel it is necessary!

Our intro log will be going up on the comms on January 5th. Until then, a few quick points:

1. Nuidan. The island of Nuidan will be disappearing from the archipelago by January 10th. There's still time to sign up for backdated tasks and rewards before the island is no longer accessible!

2. Maati. The island of Maati is still present in the archipelago. Those of you who opted in to last month's event should let us know if they succeeded or failed, so that they may be rewarded accordingly! Remember, also, to let us know if your character used up all their deaths, and must face a penalty.

In the meantime, feel free to use this post as an OOC intro and CR meme for the month of January - for new players to introduce themselves, for old players to meet and greet, and for general plotting to occur! If you want to chat or keep up with game updates, we also have both a plurk and a discord channel!

Tell us about yourself: GMT, He/Him, Fledgling roleplayer and writer here for fun times. I can be a bit dense at times, so don't hesitate to ask questions or point things out to me.
Character: Doctor Faust of Guilty Gear fame, located here!
Permissions: It's a work in progress...
Tell us about them: This is the good doctors first foray into Dreamwidth, and it's nothing like anything he's ever experienced before! Faust himself is a rather bizarre individual prone to lighthearted nonsense, very much playing the clown role unless he needs to get serious - at which point, in place of the usual zany antics you will find a highly professional, experienced physician and surgeon ready to do what needs to be done. Faust also knows some semblance of magic, albeit...probably not the kind many others are used to. Or are expecting, for that matter.
Current plans: Right now, just getting involved with the island and it's denizens as a whole! From what I've read and heard, many have just come out of a very harrowing experience with both mental and physical injuries to show for it - Faust couldn't have arrived sooner, and will certainly be eager to get everyone patched back up and ready for whatever new horrors may come next. Maybe he'll even make some friends or enemies?
