OOC INTRO: AUGUST

State of the Game
Hello and welcome to our newest arrivals! And to those of you checking in on the state of things - welcome back! Last month, you all got the option to learn what it was like to be a merperson of sorts, and uncovered a sunken city with remnants of a long-lost people. Come August, the Jormun will be dispersing once more, but remember that they're always a shell-call away, if you ever feel like contacting them for any reason!

We've loved the feedback we've gotten about the game thus far, positive and negative, and encourage you to contact us whenever you feel it is necessary!

Our intro log will be going up on the comms on August 4th. Until then, a few quick points:

1. New Island. As we pushed back the emergence of the last island in this voting round, it will be coinciding with this month's intro log. New arrivals will be arriving on the new island, so be sure to read up on the island's OOC info post! It'll be relevant to the state of things when you show up, if you're new.

2. Network Functions. As of a generous donation from Kravitz (deathfindsaway) and Chara Dreemurr (achievementhunter), the LifeAftr network now has a notes function! This is a rather simple upgrade, and just means it's possible to create and store messages without having to immediately send them. But it might make it easier to draft things and send them as attachments! This information will be available on the FAQ as well.

In the meantime, feel free to use this post as an OOC intro and CR meme for the month of August - for new players to introduce themselves, for old players to meet and greet, and for general plotting to occur! If you want to chat or keep up with game updates, we also have both a plurk and a discord channel!

JESTER HAS SO MUCH LOVE IN HER LITTLE DEVILISH BODY??? hello. she also straight up looks like a classic devil due to being a tiefling so that might catch this guy's attention too. im only two eps in so i don't know how devilish some of the demons look like. probably not blue with freckles huh.

JUST REMEMBERED also relevant, my other character Klaus has literally met god and been thrown out of heaven because she thought he sucked so i guess they like, could maybe talk... about that...
the problem is he REALLY DOES suck and i'm sorry about it

Aziraphale will straight-up be concerned about Jester, probably, but more so out of the feelings of love than the looking-devilish-thing. he's been there. done that. it's no big deal anymore. (not blue with freckles, no, but if she were to ever have an insect or some kind of reptile on her head...... skjfhsd I'm so glad you're watching it PLS ENJOY)

I would love CR with both of them! Aziraphale will definitely need to come to understand that this world has a balance as well, of good and evil and all that. he'll need to know some people who suck. that's just how it goes.
